Jenny Brown

Head Teacher,
St Albans High School for Girls

Following graduation from Oxford University with a degree in English, Jenny Brown moved into English teaching following a spell in publishing. She taught at Cranleigh School, subsequently holding senior positions at a number of top girls’ schools in London. Jenny became Headmistress of St Albans High School for Girls in 2014, and will take up the role of Headmistress of the City of London School for Girls in September 2019. Jenny sits on the Advisory Board of the New College of the Humanities and the Membership Committee of the HMC and Professional Development committee of the GSA.
