Dr Rhys Morgan is Director of Engineering and Education at The Royal Academy of Engineering. Rhys is taking a leading role to co-ordinate the work of the engineering community in ensuring the education system is appropriate at all levels for developing the next generation of engineers. He leads a team whose work includes teacher CPD, research into learning and teaching in engineering education, curriculum and qualification development. He is also responsible for delivering the Academy’s work with the engineering community to improve diversity & inclusion across the engineering profession. Rhys is the lead director for the Academy’s flagship This is Engineering campaign, which aims to change perceptions of engineering among young people and their influencers.
